PREPARATION
(1) Start with keeping a record of what you are going to need in a diary or on a tablet. (2) In preparing your Website, you need to create categories. You may have categories like "photos, contact info, services, products, personnel, business hours" and so on. (3) Obviously, you need a good name for your domain. Short names are preferred so people can remember them and can spell them. Sometimes a longer domain name may be necessary. (4) You need to start collecting photos if you want your own pictures on the site. We can take digital photos for you or scan pictures you may have. Along with the photos you may want to write down things about the pictures that you will want to say on your site. (back) |

EXPENSES
Here, I will outline every expense you will have so you can be informed as your site is developed. • Your first cost is your Website design. We will talk about this cost under the link named pricing. • With your site either in the development stage or finished, you will need to choose a domain name that is available. The first step is to register your chosen name so no one else gets the name. Registration is done in yearly cycles. 1 year registration will cost you from $15 to $25 dollars, depending on where the name gets registered. We register our domains for $18 per year and can register your name for you. • After your name is registered your initial webspace has to be set up on the server. We do this for you at a one-time $20. charge. This charge is for the labor involved and the technical expertise required to configure DNS Nameservers. • The next cost is Hosting and will likely be your final cost outside of paying your designer for the development of your Website. The average Webhost charges $19.99 per month, but some offer better deals. We charge $14.00 a month and offer discounts for 6, 9, & 12 month hosting agreements. • At this time, if your Website is paid for, you have no more immediate costs. You have to continue to pay your hosting fees monthly, and you have to keep your registration paid each year. (back) |

We are skilled graphics artists and also skilled in advanced Flash development and javascript.
